Here's a video Randy California did in 1995 of a song 1st recorded in 1968 when I worked for the band.

I wish there was a way to post mp3's here...(but it probably wouldn't be legal)
If you get a chance, listen to a song by Randy called "Cosmic Smile"...very cool!
It was done a short time before he died body surfing in Hawaii with his son.
He was like my little brother for a while.
Here is a nice tribute here; http://www.randycaliforniaandspirit.com/tribute.html

Help

That is a very cool video! My hubby and my daughter thought so too. She had never heard “Nature's Way” before and was singing all day. =) I'm going to look for Cosmic Smile now…
I was living on the Big Island when Randy died. Strange way to go but his son made it at least.
((((Love)))))

Very sweet to connect with you all appreciating this. Environmental awareness has grown a lot since those days!
Love to you All,
Doug
A classic for sure! My brothers band would play this song regularly in the 70s and 80s (Helix). And boy is nature talking to us now!!! I'm showing this one to my kids : - )
Thanks for this Doug
Daniel
Doug, perhaps you were on the road with them when they played at the Waikiki Shell in '68? … I was there, but about two feet off the ground as I recall ;-)
I love the way the Band set up for the first song…but I can't remember the song :-(
Humming electric guitars and feedback was very kewl..
Yes, I was there Larry. Sounds like the song “All the Same”. Quite an experience for a 22 year old kid. (nice entheogen experience in the rain forest there - provided an early meaning for the word “GAIA”)
Cheers
That's the one =-) As I remember it, the lead in was quite a bit longer.
It's All The Same.
TY for the time machine.
Hey Larry,
Thanks much for that link. I love that album (was in studio during recording). And, I have been wanting to share those songs with friends.
Cheers Buddy,
